“Pushing the limits of multimedia data processing in the saga of Artificial Intelligence”

This 12th edition of ISIVC conference is poised to be a landmark event in the world of Signal Processing and Artificial Intelligence.

Full paper submission deadline: January 31st, 2024.
The extended deadline is firm and will not be modified.

Submissions must be original and should not have been published previously or be under consideration for publication while being evaluated for this conference. All papers will undergo a rigorous double-blind peer-review process by an esteemed panel of experts, ensuring the highest academic and technical standards. Accepted and presented papers will be submitted for inclusion into “The proceedings of ISIVC’2024 published by IEEE Xplore” and submitted for consideration to Web of Science, SCOPUS, INSPEC, WTI Frankfurt eG, zbMATH and SCImago.

Furthermore, authors of high-quality papers will be invited to submit an extended version of their work for potential publication in special issues of a reputable international journals. This year, we use two journal publication venues depending on the tracks chosen by the authors and according to the following scheme:

  • Extended versions of best-selected papers, initially submitted for Track 1/Track 3, will be submitted to a special issue of Annals of Telecommunications (Springer, Q2). (Confirmed)
  • Extended versions of best-selected papers, initially submitted for Track 2/Track 4, will be submitted to a special issue of Multimedia Tools and Applications (Springer, Q1). (Confirmed)

The infeasibility of travel and physical attendance has been the subject of several author inquiries; so, attending our conference virtually is an option, but it must be approved by the TCP. Authors who are interested in this option should mention it when submitting their papers.

Submission guidelines:

YOU CAN ONLY SUBMIT YOUR PAPER BY LOGGING ON THE FOLLOWING WEBSITE:

https://cmt3.research.microsoft.com/ISIVC2024

1) You must first log in, or create an account

2) You then have access to Submission Index

3) Please format the camera-ready with respect to the conference formatting guidelines:

  • Including all figures, tables, and references, you are allowed a total of 6 pages.

4) You will be asked to select a track, which will assist us in selecting the best paper and assigning it to the appropriate journal.

Track 1: Signal and Audio Processing

Track 2: Computer Vision and Image Processing

Track 3: Digital Communications and Networking

Track 4: Data Science and Applications

FINAL CAMERA READY AND COPYRIGHT INSTRUCTIONS

Congratulations on the acceptance of your paper for ISIVC 2024. Please follow the following steps to submit the final (camera-ready) version of your paper:

Author List, Paper Titles, and Presentation

The author list must remain the same as when the paper was submitted for review, and any changes in the author list or title is forbidden without prior written permission from the TPC Co-Chairs.

At least one author of an accepted paper is expected to register and to present the paper at the conference, in order for the paper to appear in the conference proceedings and be submitted to the IEEE digital library. More details for registration are available in the conference website.

Non-Presented Paper Policy (“No-Show Policy”): Each paper must be presented at the conference by an author of that paper, unless prior approval is obtained from the TPC Co-Chairs and General Chairs. Papers that are not presented by their authors may be removed from the proceeding and from IEEE Xplore.

Paper Formatting

To ensure correct formatting, please use the style files found at the link below as templates for your submission. These include Word and LaTeX.

To submit the final version of papers, please read the entire paper kit (Microsoft Word or LaTeX) carefully to verify that your paper document is formatted correctly and that you have all the information you need before starting your paper submission. The paper kit contains detailed instructions on formatting your document and completing the submission process.

Accepted papers must be no longer than 6 pages including results, figures and references.

Paper Revision

Please read the reviewers’ comments carefully and revise your paper to address them. Refer to the author kit above for proper publication templates. Pages must not be numbered. Proofread your document (it will not be checked before final inclusion in the proceedings). Ensure that there is no header or footer added to the manuscript, except the copyright notice (see step below).

Copyright Notice

You will also need to include a copyright notice at the bottom of the first page of your paper. The exact notice depends on the outcome of the copyright transfer process:

For papers in which all authors are employed by the US government, the copyright notice is: U.S. Government work not protected by U.S. copyright

For papers in which all authors are employed by a Crown government (UK, Canada, and Australia), the copyright notice is: 979-8-3503-8526-7/24/$31.00 ©2024 Crown

For papers in which all authors are employed by the European Union, the copyright notice is: 979-8-3503-8526-7/24/$31.00 ©2024 European Union

For all other papers the copyright notice is: 979-8-3503-8526-7/24/$31.00 ©2024 IEEE

LaTeX users can add the following lines just before \begin{document} for the copyright notice to show up. What is shown below is an example for the fourth copyright case above, in the other cases the copyright text should be adapted accordingly.

\IEEEoverridecommandlockouts
\IEEEpubid{\makebox[\columnwidth]{ 979-8-3503-8526-7/24/\$31.00~\copyright{}2024 IEEE \hfill} \hspace{\columnsep} \makebox [\columnwidth]{ }}

MSWord users can use: ‘Insert’ -> ‘Text box’, insert the appropriate copyright notice in the texbox, and place the box (without border) at the bottom left on the first page.

PDF eXpress paper validation

1. Select the New Users – Click Here link.

  • Enter the following:
  • 61350X for the Conference ID
  • your email address
  • a password

2. Continue to enter information as prompted.

3. An Online confirmation will be displayed and an email confirmation will be sent verifying your account setup.

  • Previous users of PDF eXpress need to follow the above steps, but should enter the same password that was used for previous conferences.
  • Verify that your contact information is valid.
  • Validate your paper
    • For each conference paper, click “Create New Title”.
    • Enter identifying text for the paper (title is recommended but not required)
    • Click “Submit PDF for Checking” or “Submit Source Files for Conversion”
    • Indicate platform, source file type (if applicable), click Browse and navigate to file, and click “Upload File”. You will receive online and email confirmation of successful upload.
    • You will receive an email with your Checked PDF or IEEE PDF eXpress-converted PDF attached. If you submitted a PDF for Checking, the email will show if your file passed or failed.

Paper upload

Upload of camera-ready manuscripts is handled Microsoft CTM.

  1. Login to CTM using your username and password.
  2. Access your submission information.
