The International Symposium on Image/Video Communications over fixed and mobile networks was founded in 2000. Since then it has become an important event in the areas of digital image and video processing and digital communication. The fourth ISIVC will take place in University of Deusto, Spain on July 9-11, 2008. The symposium will be organized by the PAS Group of University of Deusto, Spain, with the collaboration of the Spanish chapter of the IEEE Signal Processing, Pole of Competences STIC (Morocco), Rabat-University, GET (Groupe des Ecoles des Télécommunications, France) and Ecole Supérieure des Communications de Tunis (SUP'COM). Authors are invited to exchange their latest research, ideas and developments in all areas of fixed and wireless communications.
